Meaningful Mondays: Meet BrightAct and our "Dear Neighbor" typeform about domestic violence. “Dear Neighbor” is a collaboration between Typeform and BrightAct. Sofie and I worked together with a team of Typeformers to create an awareness campaign that empowers the community to become a lifeline for someone you worry about. The idea is to inform neighbors about the types of domestic violence and how you can act.

As a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, the national hackathon “Hack the Crisis” was arranged during the spring of 2020. Many of the teams that participated have come a long way and launched products and services in the fight for recovery after the crisis. One year later, let’s follow some of them.

BrightAct’s mission is to end domestic violence using smart tech against abuse. At Crunchfish, Elinor developed several use cases for our aBubbl product within the Nearby solution area – a perfect task for Elinor whose mission is to design for a better and more beautiful world.

COVIDians and their solutions ep. 2: BrightAct. At a time when reports of domestic violence have been increasing rapidly due to worldwide lockdown measures, the BrightAct team got behind the mission to deliver the app to the victims with support from governments as well as local and global organizations.

Brightact is an innovative app that gathers the support society offers to those who are exposed to violence in close relationships. The City of Helsingborg will be a pilot municipality for a test of the app in real life, through the social administration and the labor market administration.
