The Hack for Earth Youth Hackathon at COP27 is a global hackathon held online and at the COY17 in Egypt November 2 – November 4, with focus on finding real solutions to the Climate Change challenges. Throughout the hackathon all teams will brainstorm, develop concepts and work together to create a solution that is in line with the jury criteria and that could be implemented to become real tools for the good of society.

Member Spotlight: Elinor Samuelsson from BrightAct. Our member Elinor Samuelsson, founder of BrightAct, is designing thoughtful technology around human needs. We recently had the privilege to chat with her at OneCoWork Catedral and get to know a little bit more about this amazing startup that we are so proud to have as part of our community.

BrightAct is a fast-growing name in the impact tech space. They predict rising levels of violence with advanced technology. This is done by gathering anonymous aggregated data to predict rising levels of violence, and to help the public sector understand the needs of the inhabitants.
